Role Overview
As an Application Deployment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering the ongoing/new project to ensure of a successful delivery of our products and solutions for AvidBeam end-users in Egypt.
Requirements
- 1. B.Sc. degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering/computer science or related fields.
- Proven work experience as an Application deployment Engineer not less than 2 years in a software company or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of video surveillance technologies, including Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems and their components.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux system administration, including but not limited to distributions such as Ubuntu Demonstrate the ability to install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Good Knowledge with IP network, including proven experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP networks. Proficient with protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Flexibility to regular site visits in Egypt and abroad is a must.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.

- Experience in client-facing or customer engagement
- Experience in physical security involving video management and video analytics products is a plus

Responsibilities:
As an application deployment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering the success of our products and solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as a technical expert and work closely with the clients to identify new business opportunities. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to potential clients. Assist in the negotiation and closing of sales deals.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and provide ongoing technical support. Address customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross- selling our products and services.
- Conduct POCs and demos to ensure the system functionalities to the clients.
- Gathering clients’ requirements in order to achieve their needs.
- Estimate H/W specs and storage calculation according to projects scopes
- Deploy and configure the software and ensure to meet the clients’ requirements and satisfactions.
- Provide technical training to partners and clients.
- Provide technical Support to the clients (remote – onsite).
- Support the partners to design optimal solutions for new projects.
- Engage with R&D team to enhance the product with market needs.
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition including solution design description, statement of work, product data sheets.
- Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Conduct professional demos and presentations for end users / clients
